What is non-invasive Body Sculpting?

Updated: Oct 31, 2023

Most non-surgical body contouring devices employ energy to enter the skin and break down underlying fat, whether it’s radiofrequency, ultrasound, freezing temperatures, or a hyperthermic laser. The damaged fat cells are subsequently gradually removed by the body’s normal metabolic process during the next few months following treatment.

The effects are long-lasting. This is due to the fact that we are born with a particular number of fat cells. We have the same number of fat cells regardless of how much weight we acquire or lose — they only enlarge with weight gain. In this way, when non-invasive fat removal kills some fat cells, the targeted cells are extinguished for good.

A typical in-clinic treatment lasts about 60 minutes. Typically, the operator will place a handpiece on the treatment region and hold it there for a predetermined amount of time.

There is no downtime, and clients can immediately return to work or their typical activities.

The fat cavitation treatment is based on a safe ultrasound stimulation with small and big probes at precise 1MHZ and 40KHz frequencies on the deeper visceral fats, which allows for a local release of the lipolytic hormone.

This is lipolysis, the natural process by which our fat reserves (from fat cells) are converted into energy to be utilized up by our body (muscles, cells) in the form of activity within 6 hours of treatment.

This cavitation ultrasonic method is appropriate for small parts of the body, such as the arms around the bra strap and muffin tops, as well as bigger areas of the body, such as the inner, outer front, or rear of the thighs, tummy, and buttocks. To begin, 6-10 treatments spaced one per week are recommended to complete the course of treatments.

Aside from physical activity and a healthy diet, no other remedy has been shown to be as efficient in activating the natural mechanism to reduce fat; LIPOLYSIS. Lipolysis is a natural process in which our fat reserves are converted into energy and consumed by our bodies.

FAT CAVITATION THE SCIENCE!

Fat cavitation induces emulsification of fat; it ruptures the fat cell membrane, releasing its fat content and transforming it into a material easily eliminated by the sweat gland, liver, and lymphatic system, which is subsequently eliminated via the urine.

During and after the cavitation treatment, excess fat is discharged into the interstitial space between the cells. It is converted to glycerol and fatty free acids here. Glycerol is a water-soluble substance that is absorbed by the circulatory system and used as an energy source. The insoluble fatty free acids are carried through the liver and kidneys, digested as if they were fatty acids from diets, and then naturally removed from the body.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM A CAVITATION ULTRASOUND?

Clients should expect to see local fat loss when the natural slimming process takes effect. The ultrasonic fat cavitation treatment approach has proven to be extremely successful on any type of fat, including visceral fat (intra-abdominal fats).

ARE THE RESULT LONG-LASTING?

Yes, because ultrasonic stimulation bypasses our central nervous system (which regulates noradrenaline release), no fat rebound effect is detected.

HOW LONG DOES THE ULTRASONIC FAT CAVITATION TAKE?

Approximately 30 minutes are spent on the treatment, firstly applying ultrasonic gel to certain regions, then the probe is then steered over the intended area while emitting low-level ultrasonic waves, after which it emits impulses in a circular motion to the target area. This action subsequently creates micro-bubbles, which begin to clash and implode. Shock waves then induce fat cells to emulsify. Following the ultrasound treatment, the released energy must be used by light cardiovascular exercise or any other calorie-burning replacement. It is recommended to do a course of 6-10 treatments spaced a week apart, depending on individual goals.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RADIOFREQUENCY AND FAT CAVITATION TREATMENTS

Radio Frequency, or RF, is a type of localised heating. This treatment has been used in the medical field for over 30 years. It used to be a very unpleasant treatment because it came in monopolar and bipolar versions. The new TRIPOLLAR has the feel of a warm massage. This procedure has rather quick results and requires no downtime. The tissue is heated to a specific temperature that the therapist constantly monitors, resulting in more fibroblast cells that tighten the skin and cause lipolysis (which is the fat cells being heated to drop excess liquid fat out of the localised area).

This interesting and revolutionary new technology produces favourable outcomes such as circumference decrease, improved skin texture, increased firmness and laxity. Fat cavitation is a type of ultrasonic stimulation that uses a tiny or big probe that is steered over the target area. Fat cells are stimulated to the point of collision and emulsification, resulting in lipolysis activation. This causes the circulation to produce free fatty acids (FFA) and glycerol (fat breakdown) for easier energy consumption of subcutaneous and visceral fats, resulting in a local and longer-lasting slimming impact. The fats that have been broken down are subsequently evacuated by the lymphatic and urine systems.

Cavitation is a popular treatment amongst our male clients who are wanting a reduction around the abdomen.

Fat Cavitation is effective on a limited number of body areas. Body regions where Fat Cavitation is considered safe and effective for removing minor fat deposits include:

  • abdomen

  • thighs

  • flanks

  • under the armpit

  • back

  • buttocks and under the buttocks
